Bijeli je 14 pipseva u zaostatku što znači kako treba povećati kontakt, a ne ići u trku. S druge strane pogrešno je započeti 5.polje sa checkerom sa središnjeg, 13.polja, kada postoje čak tri checkera na 6.polju. Njima treba napraviti 5.polje. Kontakt nije upitan nakon oba poteza koja sadrže 24/18. Bijeli ne mari ako ga crni smjesti na bar. Ima ankoru i lako ulazi nazad. 13/11 dobro stoji jer bijeli želi bolju kontrolu svoga vanjskog polja kako bi zadržao posljednji crni checker. Čini se da je to ključ pozicije. Kako vodi u meču bijeli izbjegava gammonish pozicije.
