Nakon što zatvori 5pt, bijeli ima dvije mogućnosti: 13/8 i 6/1. Prva ostavlja 13 šuteva, što u trenutku kada se u trci zaostaje samo 7 pipseva nije privlačno, ali rasterećuje prekrcani midpoint i ubacuje checker u igru, koji ako preživi slijedeće bacanje može poslužiti, za produženje blokade. Druga mogućnost postavlja checker iza protivničke ankore, praktički van igre, što nikad nije poželjno, k tome još na duboko 1.polje. Nakon 13/8 crni mora napustiti ankoru kako bi udario. Kao mali bonus, duplicirane su petice za hit i za pokrivanje 8.polja.

If it survives next roll, checker can be used for blocking purpose. Second possibility puts checker behind opponent's advanced anchor on deep acept somewhat out of play. After 13/8 black has to leave anchor in order to hit. As a bonus, fives are duplicated, to hit and to cover 8pt.
