Bijeli zaostaje 12 pipseva, ali je pozicija poprilično izgubljena i preostaje mu kontrola štete. 17/6 je siguran, postavlja checker na 6. polje i zadržava midpoint. Uskoro će vjerojatno imati kuću od pet polja. 13/7 13/8 je preoptimističan i izlaže bijeloga sa 17 šuteva. Čak iako crni promaši, bijelome preostaje dosta posla. Treba hitnuti, zatvoriti kuću i pobjeći sa dva stražnja checkera preko blokade. Njegov plan bi trebao biti izbjegavanje gammona i pokušati pobijediti udarcem u zadnji čas sa ankore.
