Udarac ima smisla, ali još nije vrijeme za paniku. Definitivno treba povećati kontakt. Bijeli ima zatvoreniju kuću, više checkera pozadi, ankoru, zaostaje u trci, dok crni još ima blot u svome boardu. Treba ubaciti jednog od spare checkera sa ankore u igru. Checker na 9pt povećava kontakt i vrijedan je builder za 3pt i barpoint stoga ga ne treba podignuti na sigurno. 20/16 duplicira četvrtice, što je bolje nego da se nakon 20/17 dupliciraju trice. Crni ukoliko želi hitnuti treba razbiti polje, osim ako ne baci duple. 

Hit on acept has its merits but there is no need for panic. White has to increase contact. White has better board, more checkers back, advanced anchor, he is behind in race and black has blot in his homeboard. White has to put one checker from anchor into play. Checker on 9pt increases contact and it is valuable builder for 3pt and barpt so there is no reason to lift it on safety. 20/16 duplicate 4s which is better than 3s duplication after 20/17. Black should break one of his outfield points if he wants to hit except he rolls some doubles next turn.
