Bijeli vodi u trci i želi pokrenuti back checker, bez ostavljanja direktnog šuta na svojoj strani ploče i kreiranja suvišnog polja ispred protivnikovih ankora kojeg će kasnije biti problem očistiti. Bolje je sa 19pt ili 18pt kontrolirati protivnikov midpoint, nego ostati na 23pt ispod spare checkera. Slabije kuće, bijeli bi radije birao mirniji 19pt, međutim onda bi blot sa 11pt morao ići na 6pt gdje već postoji spare checker, a ne na čisti barpoint. Distribucija spare checkera važna je za napad ukoliko crni napusti jednu od ankora.

White is ahead in race and wants to start back checkers moving without leaving directs on hit side and without making unnecessary point in front of opponents advanced anchor which could cause him future problems. It is much better to control black's checkers on midpoint from 19pt or 18pt, instead to stay with back checker exposed to black's dilly spare. Outboarded, white prefers quiet 19pt but blot from 11pt should be placed on 6pt then, where white already has some spare. Spare checker distribution is important for better attack potential. when black decides to abandon one of his anchors.
