Naravno da je cool zadržati potpunu blokadu, pokušati pospremiti crnog na bar i zatvoriti kuću, ali takva igra bi značila kreiranje nefleksibilne pozicije sa spare checkerima samo na 2pt i 3pt što bi se moglo osvetiti. Kocke su takve da treba preuzeti određeni rizik. Protivnik ima kuću od samo tri polja, što znači da će bijeli relativno lako ući u igru ako završi na baru. Nakon 7/1* kreiranje četvrtog napadača na 6pt (9/6) je nešto efikasnije nego na 61 jocker otporan 7/4. U Crawfordu posao bijeli mora završiti samo sa checkerima.
