Nakon toga se uduplava ili napušta ankora. Svaka pozicija je različita i treba je drugačije analizirati. Bijeli želi nakon bacanja zadržati stražnje checkere crnog. Kreativno 9/3 4/1(2) je teško vidjeti u meču, ali prisiljava protivnika da, ako ne baci 25 ili 26, razbije vlastitu blokadu sa svakom 4, 5 ili 6. Alternativa koju je lakše pronaći u igri otvara 7. i ostavlja 52 šut, ali zatvara 1.polje.
