Bijeli ne želi da crni napravi ankoru na njegovu barpt (7.polje), ali to nije glavna značajka pozicije jer crni ima bolji timing. S 2 checkera u vanjskom polju može zadržati bijelog i natjerati ga da razbije blokadu. Zbog toga bijeli mora izaći van i napraviti pritisak na blotove crnog. Udarcem bijeli popravlja crnom timing, ali sebi kreira horror bacanja poput 44 55 ili nešto manje loše 45 22. Bijeli vodi u trci stoga treba privući zaostali checker kako bi njegova pozicija postala kompaktnija. Uglavnom treba ići naprijed sa stražnjim checkerom ukoliko se vodi u trci.
