Tournament will be held at Saturday 14th May and Sunday 15th May, 2011 in the Hotel Petka, Obala Stjepana Radića 38, Dubrovnik, Croatia.

FORMAT

International tournament backgammon rules apply in this tourney.

Main tournament will be played by the swiss system with 7 matches to 9 pts. 
First day of the tournament four matches are played, and second day the remaining three. Official software of the Croatian Backgammon Federation for swiss tournaments* will be used.

On Saturday there will be free tournament for beginners. Format of this tournament will be knockout with matches to five points. Prize for winner of the tournament is a backgammon board.

After dinner on Saturday, side event is scheduled, knockout tournament with matches to three points with unlimited ammount of rebuys.

After lunch on Sunday, for those who want more play, we will organize side event, knockout tournament with matches to five points. Number of players will be limited, depending on turnout, on 8, 16 or 32.

*Parings of each round will be determined by the draw (whithin group of players with equal  or closest number of wins, and tie-break citeria: direct encounter (valid only if all players whithin group were played between themselves or if one player in the group beat all the rest), median (modified), Buchholtz, cumulative and cumulative opponent's score.

100 kn are about € 13,5 or US $18

Entry fee is 200 kn, registration fee 50 kn*.

80% of the entry fees will be returned on the following way:
